A Message from Mayor Maly:

Having recently been sworn in as the Mayor of Ocean View, I’m certainly looking forward to getting involved and engaging on behalf of our great Town! Thank you for your support and please know, as I’ve served on the Council in the past, and remained involved since, I plan to hit the ground running!  Likewise, I’m happy to be in office as we begin our fiscal year 2027, with a balanced budget, important infrastructure projects lined up, great community event offerings in the works, as well as the launch of our Tax Rate Stabilization Trust Fund!  Not to mention having maintained our recognition as one of the safest places to live and operate a business in the state of Delaware! 

Along with my fellow council members, I urge you to get involved and join us as we come together during community events in John West Park. There are many opportunities to get involved, some requiring minimal time. Take time to watch our government access channel OVTV and participate in our meetings in person or stay up to date by watching our YouTube channel or visiting our website where agenda and minutes are readily available!  I can promise  you your involvement will be rewarding.   In closing, all my best for a great summer!
